Revolutionary Design

Nissan’s history evokes milestones, while its future conveys evolution. For the past 20 years, the renowned Nissan logo has served as a beacon on its vehicles and so much more. While the recognizable company name remains at the center, the new logo has a more exquisite approach. The design process began when Senior Vice President of Global Design, Alfonso Albaisa, began to study Nissan’s brand identity. Albaisa states, “Inspiration was drawn from breakthroughs in science, technology, and connectivity,” and he continues, “How these have brought fundamental changes to our customers. As you can imagine, visions of digitalization started swirling in our heads.” The passionate Nissan design team spent the next three years sketching, iterating, and molding designs that would illuminate and make an impact. The outcome of the redesign is a transition to a refined digital-friendly look, capturing our commitment to driver connectivity, innovation, and electrification.
