Joining the electric vehicle revolution is thrilling, but Nissan EV range anxiety can be a genuine concern. Let’s delve into the Nissan LEAF® and the Nissan ARIYA, determining their range of capabilities and battery life to empower you on your electric journey. Follow along to learn more about EV range and Nissan EV battery life, and visit Preston Nissan to start shopping our expansive EV inventory!

EV Range: Electrified Mileage
Imagine cruising emission-free, enjoying the quiet power of an electric motor, but never having to worry about running out of juice. That’s the beauty of understanding the Nissan EV range. The 2024 Nissan LEAF, known for its city-friendly charm, boasts an EPA-estimated range of up to 149 miles with its standard 40kWh battery pack and an EPA-estimated range of 212 miles with the available 60 kWh battery pack.* This translates to effortless daily commutes, errands, and weekend getaways within city limits. The 2023 Nissan ARIYA comes to the rescue if you crave longer journeys with the impressive Nissan EV range. With the 87 kWh battery and Venture+ FWD available, the 2023 Nissan ARIYA offers an EPA estimated range of up to 304 miles.** There are also a variety of other trim options, including Engage FWD, Engage e-4ORCE dual motor AWD, Venture+ FWD, Evolve+ FWD, Engage+ e-4ORCE dual motor AWD,, Empower+ FWD, Evolve+ e-4ORCE dual motor AWD, and Platinum+ e4ORCE dual motor AWD. This opens up possibilities for extended road trips and adventures without Nissan EV range anxiety.

EV Battery Life: Powering Your Electrified Future
Like any battery, an EV battery eventually needs replacing to ensure you are getting optimal Nissan EV range. But worry not; technological advancements have made EV batteries incredibly durable. The Nissan LEAF and Nissan ARIYA batteries are designed to last for many years and come with a standard 8-year/100,000-mile limited warranty on battery capacity. This means you can enjoy reliable electric driving for years to come, with peace of mind knowing that your battery is covered and Nissan EV’s range is thriving.
How Long Do EVs Last?
Like gasoline-powered cars, Nissan EVs require regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and lifespan. The lifespan of an EV is highly dependent upon the size and type of battery, as well as external factors. Nissan recommends following your specific model’s scheduled maintenance intervals outlined in the owner’s manual. We recommend only charging your Nissan LEAF or Nissan ARIYA to 80-90 percent to ensure a healthy battery life. Charging to 100 percent seems like a good idea in theory, but this actually does more harm than good in the long term. With proper care and driving habits, your Nissan EV can last as long as any conventional car, offering years of emission-free enjoyment and optimal Nissan EV range.

Your Electrified Journey Starts with Confidence
At Preston Nissan, we’re dedicated to making your transition to electric seamless and worry-free. By understanding EV range and battery life, you can confidently choose the Nissan model that best fits your lifestyle and driving needs. Finding Your Charge: A Map to Electric Freedom
Level 1 Chargers (120V Standard Outlet): Imagine plugging your phone into a standard wall outlet. Level 1 is perfect for recharging overnight, adding about two to five miles of range per hour. It’s slower than the other EV charging options, but the Level 1 chargers are ideal for overnight refreshes at home or occasional power boosts.
Level 2 Chargers (208-240V): Think of it as the “fast charger” of home options, adding anywhere from 10 to 25 miles of range per hour. Think dedicated home charging station, perfect for daily commutes and keeping your Nissan ARIYA or Nissan LEAF ready for weekend adventures.
DC Fast Chargers (400-1000 V): This is the king of speed, delivering a range boost of up to 200 miles in just 15 to 45 minutes, ideal for quick pit stops on long road trips. You’ll typically find these EV charging options at public charging stations along major highways. They are becoming more and more prevalent as the EV revolution continues to spread. Although these EV charging options are great for a much-needed boost on the go, they are usually incompatible with most plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Refresh on the Go
Gone are the days of relying on gas stations. With the ever-expanding network of charging stations, finding a place to power up your Nissan EV is easier than ever. To locate Easton, MD, EV charging stations, simply open up your NissanConnect® EV app. Your Nissan EV comes with access to this handy app, which displays your battery level and pinpoints nearby Nissan EV charging options, filters them by type, and even shows real-time availability. Websites like PlugShare and ChargePoint offer comprehensive maps of charging stations across the country. You can filter by location, charger type, and connector type to ensure the displayed EV charging options are compatible with your Nissan EV. Many public spaces, including parking garages, shopping malls, and even parks, are now equipped with EV charging options. Keep an eye out for designated charging areas and take advantage of these convenient stations.

Plug Into Progress
The world is shifting gears, and at Preston Nissan, we’re excited to be at the forefront of this exciting transition of EV environmental benefits. Electric vehicles are no longer a vision of the future. They’re a present-day reality, offering a powerful combination of performance, sustainability, and style. But beyond the sleek designs and exhilarating drives, EVs offer a crucial advantage: they’re good for the planet. If you’re considering taking the leap into the world of electric driving, understanding the environmental benefits is crucial. Let’s explore how choosing a Nissan EV from Preston Nissan can positively impact our environment. Then, you can head to the dealership to test drive a Nissan LEAF® or a Nissan ARIYA!

Environmental Benefits of Owning an EV
There are plenty of EV environmental benefits to look forward to. A few advantages you (and the planet) can expect to enjoy include the following:
No Tailpipe Emissions, Cleaner Air
Unlike gasoline-powered vehicles, Nissan EVs produce zero tailpipe emissions. This means no harmful pollutants like nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, or particulate matter entering the air you breathe. With more EVs on the road, we can improve air quality, especially in crowded city areas, leading to healthier communities and a reduced risk of respiratory illnesses—an EV environmental benefit we can all get behind.
Reducing Greenhouse Gasses & Combating Climate Change
Transportation is a leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions, a key driver of climate change. By choosing a Nissan EV, you’re directly reducing your carbon footprint and exemplifying EV environmental benefits. Beyond considering the emissions associated with electricity generation, EVs significantly outperform gasoline cars in terms of greenhouse gas reduction. Imagine the collective impact if every driver made the switch—we could truly move the needle in the fight against climate change.

Sustainable Energy, Responsible Consumption
With the heightened focus on renewable energy sources, the environmental benefits of EVs become even more amplified. By charging your Nissan EV with solar panels or wind power, you can create a truly sustainable transportation system, minimizing your reliance on fossil fuels and promoting responsible energy consumption.
Conservation of Resources, Protecting Our Planet
Beyond emissions, traditional gasoline cars utilize various resources like oil and metals throughout their lifecycle. EVs, on the other hand, require fewer resources to produce and operate. Advancements in EV battery technology are leading to longer lifespans and more efficient recycling processes, further minimizing environmental impact.
Beyond the Numbers: The Ripple Effect of Going Electric
EV environmental benefits extend far beyond quantifiable metrics. By choosing an electric Nissan vehicle, you’re making a statement, inspiring others to consider a more sustainable lifestyle. This collective shift in consciousness can have a powerful ripple effect, encouraging businesses and communities to invest in renewable energy solutions and prioritize environmental responsibility.
These are just a glimpse into the EV environmental benefits that come with driving a Nissan ARIYA or a Nissan LEAF. It’s a win-win proposition: you enjoy lower operating costs, a smooth and quiet ride, and the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a positive difference. We invite you to tag along and join the sustainable revolution to leave a lasting, positive impact on our world!

Nissan Pickup Trucks: Built in America, Driven Everywhere
Ever wondered: Who makes Nissan pickup trucks? You’ll be pleased to know that Nissan’s top-selling trucks are assembled right here on American soil. Keep reading to learn more about how and where the fan-favorite Nissan Titan and Nissan Frontier are manufactured, and head to Preston Nissan to take a test drive!

Where Is the Nissan Frontier Made?
The Nissan Frontier is built in the United States. Specifically:
- Assembly Plant: Canton, Mississippi
- Start of Production in the U.S.: Since 2012, Nissan has been producing the Frontier (along with other models like the Nissan Titan) at the Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant.
- Why Canton?: Nissan invested heavily in U.S. manufacturing to serve the North American market directly, ensuring the trucks are built close to where most of them are sold. So when you drive a new Nissan Frontier, you’re driving a truck proudly assembled in America.

Where Is the Nissan Titan Built?
The Nissan Titan is proudly built in the United States at the Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Canton, Mississippi. Production of the Nissan Titan began there in 2003, making it Nissan’s first U.S. truck assembly facility. Today, the Canton plant continues to serve as the hub for both the Titan and the Frontier pickup trucks, reinforcing Nissan’s strong “Built in America” commitment. In short, the Nissan Titan and Nissan Frontier share the same American home in Canton, Mississippi.
Proud to be American Made
Not only are these trucks proudly made in America, but they are assembled by a team of Nissan’s hardest workers. The production team at the plant is rightfully rewarded for their labor with excellent employee benefits, community outreach, scholarship opportunities, and plenty of other opportunities.

Rich History, High Quality
This may be breaking news to some, but the Nissan Titan and the Nissan Frontier have been assembled in the United States since the early 2000s. As Mississippi’s first automotive production facility, Nissan managed to turn farmland into a fruitful auto giant. Though some items are shipped from Japan, most of the truck’s parts are sourced from North America before being sent to Canton, MS, for assembly.
Choose U.S. Assembled Excellence
You can always count on Nissan pickup trucks to adhere to the top American-assembled standards. Shop available Nissan trucks at Preston Nissan!

Leasing the Way: Nissan SignatureFLEX
The Nissan Motor Acceptance Company (NMAC) has some exciting news on the horizon. At the end of January, the brand announced that it will offer customers a convenient leasing opportunity. Are you interested in learning more about this game-changing Nissan news? Keep reading for more information, and stop by Preston Nissan to view our inventory of Nissans!

Flexible Terms & Convenient Leasing
With the introduction of SignatureFLEX, there is also a wave of benefits set to be available for Nissan customers. This program allows customers more flexibility with the newly available option to add more miles to their lease contract if they are about to exceed the mileage limit. SignatureFLEX gets rid of the stress of lessees under-using or over-exceeding drive miles. There will now be 10,000-mile limit options compared to the previous 12,000-mile limit. They also have introduced a new 5,000-mile limit for a 36-month term. After looking at the changing climate of commuting, Nissan noticed that more and more customers were opting for leases with lower mileage. The brand took into account that driving habits are apt to change and fluctuate, and the lessee should not be penalized for that. SignatureFLEX allows lessees to easily purchase extra miles online through NMAC or through the mobile app. To kick things off, Nissan began offering SignatureFLEX in late 2022 across all of their models, including EV models.
