Nissan earned four segment wins, the most of any mass-market brand in the J.D. Power 2020 Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) Study. These J.D. J.D. Power Awards For Nissan
The top-rated Nissan model in the APEAL Study was the 2020 Nissan Sentra, earning a victory in the compact car class. The 2020 Nissan Versa took top honors in the small car category. The 2020 Nissan Maxima won the large car group. This marks the third straight year the Nissan Maxima was the top-rated model in the large car group for the APEAL Study. The final Nissan J.D. Power award recipient was the 2020 Nissan Armada, which scored a victory in the large SUV class. Other 2020 Nissan models also received high marks, with eight of the 10 ranked Nissan models scoring better than the segment average. This achievement improved Nissan from a 14th overall ranking in 2019 to a tie for sixth in 2020.
